Namibian Firewood

Fuel your fire, flavour your food.

Our Namibian firewood is more than just kindling it’s part of the recipe. Harvested from naturally slow-growing hardwood trees, each log packs serious heat and stays burning longer, giving you steady, reliable coals for open-fire cooking. The low-moisture content means less smoke and more control, so your food takes on just the right amount of natural wood-fired character never overpowering, always just right. From rustic braais to refined outdoor feasts, this is the wood that brings out the best in every flame-cooked meal.

How to

use it.

1. Build Your Base

Start with a small pile of firelighters or dry kindling in the center of your fire pit, braai, or fireplace. Arrange a few smaller pieces of our hardwood around it in a teepee or crisscross pattern to allow airflow.

2. Light It Up

Ignite the firelighters or kindling using a match or lighter. Let the flames catch and begin to spread to the surrounding wood. Patience is key give it a minute to establish.

3. Add & Enjoy

Once the smaller wood is burning steadily, gradually add larger logs. Our dense Namibian hardwood will take over, creating a long-lasting, hot-burning fire perfect for cooking or keeping warm.

Warning – Fire and Burn Hazard

  • Burn Responsibly: Firewood burns at high temperatures. Always use heat-resistant gloves and tools when tending to an active fire.

  • Ventilation: Only use firewood in well-ventilated areas. Never burn wood indoors without proper airflow or a functioning chimney to prevent smoke build-up.

  • Keep Away from Children and Pets: Never leave a lit fire unattended. Store firewood in a dry, safe area—away from open flames, children, and animals.

  • Extinguish Properly: Ensure all embers are fully extinguished before leaving the fire unattended or disposing of ash. Do not discard hot ash near flammable materials
